We run DesignPorn, so we are one of the tools below. We say where the others are the stronger pick.
Why designers look for a Refero alternative
Refero is a well-made library of real product screens and flows from shipped web apps and iOS apps. Product designers use it to see how real software handles a sign-up, an empty state or a settings page. It has a Figma plugin, an MCP server for AI agents, and Pro, Team, Enterprise and Lifetime plans.
People who search for an alternative usually hit one of four limits:
- The work is not product UI. A designer who moves from the app to the marketing site, a launch page or a rebrand finds that a screen library is the wrong shelf.
- They want to search by look, not by screen type. "Login screen" is easy to find in a product library. "Warm editorial landing page with a serif headline" is harder.
- They need design data, not only the picture. Teams want the colors, the type pairing and the spacing of a reference so they can brief a designer or a developer.
- Price per seat for a whole team. Refero bills Team per seat. A five person agency adds it up and compares.
If none of these apply, you probably do not need to switch. Refero does its job well.

Read the table by job. Flows and app screens point to the first three. Web, brand and launch work point to the last one.
Is there a Refero alternative for web design?
Yes. DesignPorn is a Refero alternative built for web design. It covers website design inspiration, SaaS landing page examples and pricing page examples, and you can search them by style or by uploading a screenshot. Refero is stronger when the job is the screens inside a product.
The difference shows up on the first search. In a product screen library you look for a screen type and then scroll for the look you want. In DesignPorn you type the look itself, such as "calm fintech pricing page" or "bold serif branding", and the results come ranked by how well they match.
Refero alternatives by use case
For product UI and flows, Mobbin
Mobbin is the largest library of app screens and flows and the most direct swap for Refero. It covers iOS, Android and web apps, records flows and animations, and has Pro and Team plans. On its own pricing page in October 2026, Pro was $10 a month and Team $16 per member a month, both billed yearly. If you only need product UI, Mobbin is the cheapest switch. We compared it in detail on our Mobbin alternative page.
For whole journeys, Page Flows
Page Flows records user journeys as video, step by step. It is the pick when you need to see the motion and the order of a flow, not a still screen. It is narrow by design.
For web, SaaS and brand work, DesignPorn
DesignPorn is a curated library of the top 1 percent of websites, landing pages, SaaS sites, pricing pages, dashboards, branding, logos, packaging, type and ads. Three things set it apart from a product screen library:
- Style search in plain words. Describe the feel and get matches across every category.
- Find similar from a screenshot. Drop a client's current site or a competitor's page and get the nearest designs, with the reasons each one matched. Try it on the find similar page.
- A breakdown of every design. The palette with the share of each color, the heading and body fonts, and the spacing base unit.
It also does not record flows, and its library is smaller than the big product screen collections, because it keeps only the strongest work.
Is Refero worth it?
Refero is worth it if you design software screens every week and want real shipped references, ready to drop into Figma or hand to an AI agent. It is less useful for marketing sites, landing pages, branding and packaging, where a library of web and brand work saves more time. Many product teams pay for one of each.
How much does Refero cost?
Refero has a Free plan with limited search results, a Pro plan, a Team plan billed per seat with a lower price per seat as the team grows, an Enterprise plan with SAML SSO and a DPA, and a one-time Lifetime plan for one user. Students get 40 percent off Pro. Refero does not list a free trial. Prices change, so check refero.design/pricing for the current numbers.
DesignPorn Pro is $24 a month billed yearly for one designer. Team is $74 a month billed yearly and includes five seats, shared boards, private client links and monthly trend reports. See every plan on the pricing page.
How to choose for your team
Ask what your team ships most.
- Mostly product screens. Keep Refero or move to Mobbin. Both are built for it.
- Mostly marketing sites and launches. Use a web library you can search by style. Start with the best landing pages we picked and broke down.
- An agency doing both. Use a product library for app work and DesignPorn for pitches, brand and web, and share boards with clients by private link.
Once you have a reference set for a landing page, the next job is making sure the page sells. A conversion rate audit of your landing page checks the copy, layout and calls to action before you hand the design to development.
